What is a free in-home consultation?Prior to booking service with Hauser’s, our clients can receive a free in-home consultation to assess immediate needs, gather an understanding of their current health situation, and assess any possible risks in the home to ensure our home support services can be conducted in a safe manner. If I book a free in-home consultation, do I have to purchase home care services?No. Our in-home consultation is free and is completely without obligation. You are not required to book service after a consultation if you feel that Hauser’s is not the right fit for you.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract with Hauser’s Support Services?No. You may cancel your services with us at anytime. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel service if you don’t want to incur a cancellation fee.

Do you provide services in my area?Hauser’s Support Services are available in the following areas: Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, and Haldimand.

How are your services different from hiring other caregivers?Hauser’s caregivers provide safe, effective, and exceptional client-centered home support services that are in accordance with our care programs, policies and high-quality standards. Our caregivers are carefully selected and go through a rigorous screening process to ensure they are of the highest caliber. All of our caregivers are bonded and carry appropriate insurance coverage including WSIB to provide you with peace of mind, and confidence in our care delivery.

How much will care services cost my family?Each care plan is customized to suit your needs. Rates differ based on the type of care require. Are home care services tax deductible?Under certain conditions, home care services are tax deductible. We recommend you check with your tax advisor or Revenue Canada to determine if you qualify for a tax deduction.

I am an existing client and would like to pay my bills. What are my payment options?You can discuss payment options with your Hauser’s Care Coordinator or make a payment in one of these three ways: E-transfer your payment with your invoice to accounts@hauserspharmacy.com By cheque, with your invoice number, made out to Hauser’s Support Services and mailed to 140 Broad Street East, Dunnville, ON N1A 1E9 Come in and visit us with your payment.

Can I pay for the care of my loved one?Yes, you can arrange and pay for support services for a loved one through Hauser’s. Please refer to the previous FAQ for payment options.
